lobbd is provided by Lobbd Ltd, of The Court Yard, Building 15, Unit 10, Harmans Way, Weedon, NN7 4PS. For data protection purposes, we are the "data controller" for the information described below. Contact: support@lobbd.com.
Account information: name, email address, and (for players) an optional rating ID (e.g. DUPR ID) and rating.
Session and game data: which sessions you play in, scores, results, who you played with and against, booking history.
Payment information: when you pay for a session, membership, or subscription, payment is handled by Stripe. We store the outcome (amount paid, date, status) but do not store your full card details — those are held by Stripe directly.
Location within your Club: if a Club uses features like the accident book or safeguarding log, that information is entered and stored for that Club's own record-keeping and legal obligations. This is especially sensitive data, and access is restricted to authorised roles within the Club (see section 6).
Images: if you or your Club uploads an image (such as a session photo or a logo), it's stored and, depending on where it's used, may be publicly visible (e.g., on a Club's public page).
Usage/presence data: to show organisers which members are currently active, we record a "last seen" timestamp roughly once a minute while you have the app open. We also log when a player's profile is viewed by their Club's organiser, to power a "most viewed players" feature for that Club.
Committee and club administration data: if your Club uses features like committee minutes, votes, grants tracking, or documents, that content is stored for the Club's own use.
Some Clubs have junior (under-18) members. Where a Club adds a junior member's data, this is done by the Club acting as data controller for that data, consistent with their own safeguarding policies. We ask Clubs to obtain appropriate parental consent in line with their own responsibilities as a club dealing with minors.
Being part of a Club on lobbd means certain information (like your name, results, and attendance) is visible to that Club's organisers, and in some cases to other members (e.g., on shared leaderboards). Highly sensitive records (accident reports, safeguarding logs) are restricted to specific roles within the Club.
Some of our service providers (including our AI provider) may process data outside the UK/EEA.
We keep account and session data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after in case it's needed for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. Safeguarding and accident records may need to be kept for longer periods to comply with the Club's own legal obligations.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to: - Access the personal data we hold about you - Ask us to correct inaccurate data - Ask us to delete your data, in some circumstances - Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing - Receive your data in a portable format - Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled
To exercise these rights, contact support@lobbd.com.
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including restricting access to sensitive data (like payment tokens and accounting connections) so that only our own servers — never a web browser — can read it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll let you know of significant changes.

Reminder: have this reviewed by a solicitor or data protection specialist before publishing. The sections most in need of specific professional attention: children's data (section 4), international transfers (section 7), and data retention periods (section 8) — these carry real regulatory risk if wrong, especially given the safeguarding data lobbd handles for junior club members.
